  • How do I know if I need to see a Psychiatrist?
A psychiatrist is able to provide medications and therapy for a wide array of mental health needs. You do not need to have been formally diagnosed with a mental illness to see a Psychiatrist. Some people come into a Psychiatric setting to process stressful experiences including, but not limited to, going off to college, recent marriage or divorce, work related problems, relationship problems with friends, etc. Other people are seen for their first episode of depression, anxiety, are stable on ADHD medications and need medication refills, or have suffered with chronic mental health issues.
